On June 12th INHS will celebrate #GivingisGorges with Ithaca and Tompkins County, 24 hours dedicated to amplifying philanthropy in our community. Help us raise funds to cover the cost of materials to make home improvements for our low-income, aging and disabled neighbors.
This first-time homebuyer education course will be held the first four Thursdays in May from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. in Ithaca.
“INHS is there to help families keep their homes safe and maintained.”
“Compared to other Section 8 apartments I’ve lived in, this is the nicest.”
“We like the location, it is close to shopping and a park.”
“Over the years I’ve gotten to know the INHS staff, and they’re always so friendly.”
“I am proud to be a tenant with INHS.”
“It feels like a new home.”
INHS was recently awarded two HOME Local grants through NYS Homes and Community Renewal, totaling $988,500. These funds will allow INHS to expand its homeownership program by 34 households.
In Part 4, our home maintenance crew will go over routine maintenance tasks as well as preventative seasonal activities you can do to protect your home and its value. Topics include maintaining heating/cooling systems, plumbing, chimneys, weatherization, repairing drywall, lawn and garden, tools and safety, painting and more.
