Posted Mar 21, 2025

INHS has been awarded nearly $150,000 from the Ithaca Urban Renewal Agency (IURA), CDBG, and HOME programs to make major repairs and rehab to up to six households in the City of Ithaca.

This award will support INHS’s Major Repair Program that provides repairs and rehabilitation services to low- to moderate-income homeowners of any age. Repairs include: deferred maintenance, health and safety issues, structural defects, and energy conservation. Homeowners must meet income requirements and live in the City of Ithaca.

In 2024, INHS provided major repair services to 24 households, closing nearly $557,000 in loans.
