The 1976 Society
Members of the 1976 Society are accelerating solutions to the affordable housing crisis and ensuring a future in which every neighbor has access to high-quality housing that meets their budget and needs.
Since 1976, INHS has been devoted to its mission: to revitalize neighborhoods – encouraging stability and diversity – and to assist low to moderate income people in obtaining quality housing on a long-term basis. Our work is made possible by successful partnerships between residents, businesses, government officials, and donors like you.
You can join the 1976 Society by making an outright gift or pledge of $5,000 or more. Your lifetime contributions to INHS may be counted towards your membership in the 1976 Society when you make a new pledge or upgrade to the next giving level. You may choose to fulfill your pledge over three or five years or can determine an alternate payment schedule based on your personal preferences and financial needs.
As a member of the 1976 Society you’ll receive:

• A “1976 Society” lapel pin
• An invitation to submit a donor testimonial for our impact newsletter
• A listing in our annual Community Report to recognize your generosity and leadership giving
• Invitations to exclusive 1976 Society events and property tours
• Naming rights opportunities on future INHS real estate development projects (Developers’ Club exclusive)

Neighborhood Investment Fund
INHS’ annual fund is one of the best ways to support the affordable housing needs and revitalization of your community. Your unrestricted gift to this fund allows us to allocate dollars where they are needed most.
No Place Like Home Fund
Gifts to the No Place Like Home Fund support low-income seniors and people with disabilities by providing free-of-cost small home repairs including installing hand rails, building a wheelchair accessible ramp, resealing windows and doors, and more. When you give to the No Place Like Home Fund you’re ensuring your neighbors never have to choose between buying materials for a small home repair and paying for their life saving medications, groceries, or heating bills.
Building Our Future Fund
Your gift to the Building Our Future Fund is a critical investment in combating the shortage of affordable housing in your community and ensuring it remains affordable to low- and moderate-income people for years to come. Your giving will support the research, feasibility and market studies, concept design, and pre-development costs associated with bringing high-quality, affordable rental units to town and will help INHS acquire new houses for our Community Housing Trust. Through this fund you can help ensure that every one of your neighbors has a place to call home that meets their needs and budget.
