H. Matthys Van Cort
Thys was a catalyst in making INHS the first small city NHS in the country and is a founding member of the INHS Board. Retired as Director of Planning and Development for the City of Ithaca, he earned a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Ithaca Downtown Partnership. He played a direct role in the revitalization of downtown Ithaca. Thys and his wife, Beth Prentice, reside in the Belle Sherman neighborhood.
