Any first time buyer whose income is low enough to meet our guidelines but high enough to afford a house payment.
Income limits are higher than you might expect. A family of three earning $75,397 a year is eligible for help. Call to set up an appointment so we can tell you what you may qualify for.
If you have not owned a home in the past three years, you can now be considered a first time home buyer. If you owned a house with a spouse or partner but did not keep the home when you separated, you may also be treated as a first time buyer. Call to see if your situation qualifies.
INHS funds will go towards closing costs, down payment, and possibly renovations. A local lender will provide a loan for the remainder of the purchase price.
You’ll know exactly what you can afford before you start looking. And, when you find the right house, your offer will be stronger if you can show a seller that you’ve already met with your lenders.
Once you complete an application and provide the information we need, we will let you know if you’re approved in no longer than two weeks. You can be pre-qualified before you start looking for a house but wait to apply until you’ve placed an offer on the home you wish to buy.
